To work on-campus or as an intern in any company, you would not require any additional work permit as your study permit is enough to help you find a part-time job. To work off-campus without a work permit you must meet the study requirements.

Post-study work rights

The Post Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) allows international students to work in New Zealand by granting the Work Permit for up to three years.

The minimum study period for applying work permit is one year.

Post Graduate Diploma, Masters Degree, and Ph.D. graduates are eligible for a 3-Years Post-Study work permit.
